December 21, 2024—In a harmonious celebration of unity and spirituality, the Talamahi Coven, formerly known as InKa, continued its cherished tradition of hosting a year-end gathering. This annual event, held in the sacred space of Coven Cafe, brought together members, seekers, and believers to bid farewell to the past year’s negativities and welcome blessings for the new year through a simple yet meaningful ritual led by our esteemed High Priest, Tata.
A Night of Magick, Connection, and Gratitude
The event commenced with warm opening remarks, setting the tone for a night filled with camaraderie and magick. Participants, dressed as elementals—fairies, elves, and spirits of air, fire, water, and earth—fully embraced the evening’s mystical theme.
Engaging activities followed, starting with the Telepathy Challenge, where pairs tested their psychic connection by guessing cards within a set time. This was succeeded by the Guess Your Partner game, which left everyone in laughter as participants relied on intuition and clever questioning. The final game, Mystic Trivia, showcased the audience’s knowledge of mystical symbols, practices, and traditions, with winners determined by speed and accuracy.
The program also featured the much-anticipated Costume Contest, where participants modeled their creative attire. The audience’s enthusiastic voting crowned three standout winners, with this year’s grand winner, Butchay, dazzling everyone in her Leprechaun’s gold-inspired elemental costume. She received cabochon crystals (red jasper, labradorite), a moldavite stone, and a free Numerology Lifetime Forecast by Tata Adlaw. Throughout the night, raffle draws and an exchange gift activity added excitement and fostered the spirit of giving.
A Sacred Ritual and Exciting Announcements
The highlight of the evening was the year-end ritual conducted by High Priest Tata. This sacred act symbolized the release of negativities and the opening of hearts to prosperity and blessings for the upcoming year. Attendees shared in this moment of reflection and renewal, strengthening bonds within the circle.
During the event, Talamahi announced an exciting development: our member-only classes and workshops are now open to the public. These offerings will delve into the art of spiritual healing, divination, and magick, inviting those who seek deeper knowledge and connection to participate. Details and reservation information will be posted on our official Facebook page two weeks before the scheduled dates. Slots will be limited, so early registration is encouraged.
A Heartfelt Thank You
Talamahi extends its deepest gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the event’s success. Special thanks go to Anantha for graciously allowing us to use their sacred space, and to Dambana and Coven Cafe for sponsoring the raffle and costume prizes, which added an extra layer of excitement and generosity to the evening.
We are especially grateful to Nimuel, who served as the Master of Ceremonies for the night, ensuring the program flowed seamlessly with his charisma and energy.
Congratulations to all our raffle winners and to this year’s costume contest winners for their creativity and spirit!
As we close this chapter and prepare for the year ahead, we look forward to welcoming new faces and deepening connections within our community. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming events, workshops, and gatherings.
